Pyromatic plans to release their second full length album entitled "Takes Me Back" on July 19th 2011 through their own label Rock Room Records. The album will be available through all major digital download sites like iTunes and Amazon.com. Cd's will be sold through many distribution sites and locations.
Also, contracts for a major Cd distribution chain are in talks for a release later in the year.

Pyromatic and Nick Gore will be giving a fundraising concert on Saturday July 16th 2011 at Old Dock Elementary School. All ticket sales go to the Old Dock Cypress Creek Fire Dept.

CANCELLATION OF THE FEB 4TH SHOW

On February 4th 2011 Pyromatic was scheduled to play the last of four shows that were agreed on with the owner of Purebred and Crossroads in Whiteville North Carolina. They were contracted to do these shows in late spring of 2010. After the closing of Purebred in the late summer or early fall, the shows were moved to the Crossroads location. Both the owner and band agreed on this move. All contract agreements were understood not to change, just the location and name of the venue. The band played the October 4th show with no problem and the last show date was booked for December 31st 2010. After some thought, the decision was made between both parties to move the date to February 4th. After the beginning of the new year, the band started promotion of the show on all of their online sites. Contact was made by one of the band members on Tuesday, January 25th 2011 with the owner. He said that everything was still on schedule and there was no problem with the show going on. The band and crew showed up on February 4th at 4:00 pm for load in and sound check. The venue was closed. There was no way of contacting the owner because all the contact numbers were changed or disconnected. After waiting until 7:00 pm to see if someone was coming to open the venue, the band had to make the decision to announce the shows cancellation. Please don't let this influence your opinion of Pyromatic or anyone associated with the band. We will try to make this show up to the Fans somehow.

We like to post a personal update now and then to let you know what we are working on and our plans for the future. It's crazy to think we are working on our sixth year as a band already. In those six years we have accomplished a lot of goals. When we started we had the mentality that we were not going to be just a "bar band" with a few original songs that at best would be recorded live at a show. We wanted to create a living, breathing, self-propelled group. So far, so good! We have created our own record label that has allowed us to produce a demo album in 2004 entitled "All Access" and our debut album "Reels & Stills". We signed with a distribution company in early 2009 that re-released Reels & Stills in Best Buy and almost every online music store on the World Wide Web. Our mailing list has thousands of subscribers all over the world and continues to grow every day. Our personal website www.pyromatic.net has hundreds of hits every week and a full inbox of world wide fan mail and business offers to answer everyday. Sells of our music (albums+MP3s) and merchandise have well surpassed our beginning goals and continue to do well without help from any outside label’s help. We have also had the opportunity to share the stage with many of the bands we grew up listing to like Jackyl, members of Guns N’ Roses and many more. With all this being said, all we can say is THANK YOU! We could not do this without your support.
So, what are the plans for 2010? New music! The last new original music that was released was in 2008 and we hope to change that very soon. We have been working very hard on writing new material and we think that you are going to like it! In early February pre-production started on the first single for our new album. We will be tracking the new song over the next couple of months and hope to have a late spring/early summer release on most of the digital download sites. As of right now we are looking to release two digital singles before the full album is released next year on CD and MP3 formats.

As for live shows this year, we do plan to play some shows this summer and fall, but not many due to the full schedule of writing and recording. This is one of the best things about owning your label; you can make your own schedule. Also, with all the media outlets on the internet now, we don’t have to pack up and do a full promotional tour. You can send an email and inform people from right down the street to the other side of the world at the same time.

We are planning to video a bulk of the writing and recording to keep you updated through the process of making this new album. So keep checking into www.pyromatic.net and all of our social sites. I hope everyone had a great spring/summer this year, I know we did! We got to play at some really great places and meet some awesome people too. We are going to be cutting back on shows for the rest of the year and getting to work on some other stuff (We will fill ya in on that later). I know I don't get on here very much, I have never been a big Internet poster but, that should be changing from now own. I am going to be making post here on the blog and on Pyromatic.net from time to time. I do see all the Emails and comments though! THANK YOU!! For all the kind words. We have been wanting a form for everyone to leave there comments straight on pyromatic.net so we can see whats on your mind and now we should be getting one soon! With most websites adapting to the new compact and fast paced internet technology like RSS feeds and mini sites embedded into widgets, pyromatic.net has got to keep up with the times. In the next month or so the site will under go a facelift and a much needed tech. tuneup.
The site will be very interactive with the additions of comment forms and sharing buttons for your social sites like Facebook, Myspace, etc... Live RSS feeds will be available so you can get your updates as soon as they are released.
The site will also be getting a "Fans Only" section that will be filled with cool stuff like free downloads of photos, songs, and more. You can gain access by becoming a member of the mailing list and/or Street Team.

Pyromatic welcomes Nick Gore

Due to personal engagements Heath Ward will be taking a leave of absence from the bands live commitments for the next few months. The band would like to introduce Mr. Nick Gore to the Pyro family.

Pyromatic to Play Cruefest in Atlanta GA

English Nick of ROCK 100.5 and PYROMATIC will take part in the second annual Cruefest Atlanta charity event, set to take place June 14, 2009 at the 10 High Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Also scheduled to appear are ANGEL III, THE JULIA DREAM, SMASHED ALLEY and THE SWEAR. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.For more than seven years, the association known as "Cruefest" has promoted bands that follow in the MÖTLEY CRÜE spirit. These charity events are held at various locations around the world throughout the year to spotlight these bands and to raise money for the Skylar Neil Foundation and Nikki Sixx's Running Wild in the Night foundation. Last year, Cruefest Atlanta raised over $4,000 for charity and this year the organizers hope to raise even more.In 1995, Vince Neil lost his daughter Skylar to cancer. Since that time, he has tried to do everything he can do to help raise awareness and much needed funding for children's illnesses. To date, charity events across the world have helped Vince raise nearly two million dollars to fund research to combat cancer, AIDS and leukemia. Event sponsors donate money and merchandise while the bands donate their talent. The highlight of Cruefest Atlanta is the opportunity for MÖTLEY CRÜE fans to get together and raise money for charity. This charity event is not part of MÖTLEY CRÜE's summer tour known as Crüe Fest.

North Carolina rockers Pyromatic will release their highly anticipated debut album entitled “Reels & Stills” on August 12, 2008. It will be released under the bands own label Rock Room Records.
