Happy Birthday Scott Long. Scott has been helping Pyromatic with guitar and background vocals during live performances for over a year now. His guitar talent will also show up on the new album due out this summer.

Everyone is still working hard on the new album and we have a pretty good idea of when the release date will be. It will be announced as soon as everything is set in stone. Some of the projects we are working on involve old photos from the bands past with or without "the band" as the focus. Some of the photos will have friends and family of the band, so you might be receiving an email from us asking for your permission to use your image. If you do not want us to use it, we will remove it from the projects with no questions asked! We think everyone will like what we are doing when the final drafts are complete. THE NEW PYROMATIC.NET IS UP AND RUNNING

The new Pyromatic.net is up and running. The site has some new features and should be more user friendly. The news and blog are now powered by the popular blogger website for a more interactive experience with many ways share posts and pages with your favorite social networks like Facebook and Twitter. CANCELLATION OF THE FEB 4TH SHOW

On February 4th 2011 Pyromatic was scheduled to play the last of four shows that were agreed on with the owner of Purebred and Crossroads in Whiteville North Carolina. They were contracted to do these shows in late spring of 2010. After the closing of Purebred in the late summer or early fall, the shows were moved to the Crossroads location. Both the owner and band agreed on this move. All contract agreements were understood not to change, just the location and name of the venue. The band played the October 4th show with no problem and the last show date was booked for December 31st 2010. After some thought, the decision was made between both parties to move the date to February 4th. After the beginning of the new year, the band started promotion of the show on all of their online sites. Contact was made by one of the band members on Tuesday, January 25th 2011 with the owner. He said that everything was still on schedule and there was no problem with the show going on. The band and crew showed up on February 4th at 4:00 pm for load in and sound check. The venue was closed. There was no way of contacting the owner because all the contact numbers were changed or disconnected. After waiting until 7:00 pm to see if someone was coming to open the venue, the band had to make the decision to announce the shows cancellation. Please don't let this influence your opinion of Pyromatic or anyone associated with the band. We will try to make this show up to the Fans somehow.
